"For the wages of sin is death, but the 'Free Gift of God' is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord".
It is through the Cross of Jesus, and the blood He shed for our sins, that allows the Gift of Salvation to anyone who believes Jesus is the Son of God.
I hope you will memorize this scripture with me this week and allow it to go deep in your heart. Please feel free to blog your thoughts on this verse or give testimony of your own experience with the Cross of Jesus.
Throughout my life I have promoted healthy eating! Natural as possible; fruits, veggies, honey from your area, and many herbal teas that aid in being healthy and making my own bread. But it is amazing how easy it is to slip into eating badly. So we have pulled out the juicer again and purchase mainly fruits and veggies and take natural vitamins specificly for my needs which is chronic pain and arthritis. I was in a very bad way physically, and now 3 months later I am feeling great. Try changing a few habits that can better your life.
The Word of God is truly our Bread of Life and we need it daily to stay close to our Savior and to deepen our relationship with him by understanding God's relationship with man throughout generations, and so much more by the Holy Spirit. It has everything we need.
Sharing and interacting regarding the scriptures is encouraged; this is how we grow and learn from each other.
So join us starting September 18th for a weekly scripture, for the first "Commit to Memory- Bread of Life"! Let's find out how much of God's Word we can, not only memorize, but learn and have seeded in our heart.
** The picture is of a Zulu Bible of a dear friend in KwaZulu Natal, LIV Village, South Africa. As you can see, her Bible has been very used, and I can tell you, highly revered.
These ladies are amazing! They learn so quickly and very eager to help each other. I can tell you this, they are "naturals" working and creating with their hands. Their stitches are so even and perfect from the very start. And even though I was able to teach them new stitches, their work is soooo much better than mine. Their creative abilities are incredible.
These table centerpieces and hand crafted by the native people of South Africa. Hundreds and hundreds of tiny seed beads. A light in the center shows off the colors of beads. They can also be ordered through www.liv-village.com
We are very excited to announce Hancock Fabrics as our first sponsor of Threads of Life Ministry with a new sewing machine to send to our Training Center in South Africa.
Hancock store manager, Sherry, expressed excitement and joy in participating with Threads of Life to provide women in South Africa with tools and supplies to learn sewing skills. The sewing machine is just the first of sewing supplies and fabrics that will be donated.
Thank you Hancock Fabrics for your generous donations!
